The app queues the alert with your last known location and time, retries on any network, and uses SMS to our short code when a SIM is present.
Safety
Help that works without a local SIM.
Most visitors will not have an Ethiopian SIM. So every safety feature works over any internet connection, and degrades gracefully when the connection is poor.
SOS over the internet
A persistent SOS button in the app, a hold-to-confirm gesture and a silent option. It needs no phone number or cellular call and works on hotel, host or venue Wi-Fi.
Sent with your alert: location, battery, booking and room, emergency contact, and your driver and vehicle if you are in a ride.

Share your trip
Share your ride or stay live with a trusted contact at any time. Night rides share by default and route deviations alert the command centre.
Check-in timer
Going somewhere late? Set a timer. If you do not confirm you arrived safely, the command centre is alerted.
Verified people and places
Hosts, drivers and vehicles are checked in person. You see your driver's photo, plate and QR sticker before pickup, and the pickup code must match to start the trip.
Travelling alone
Filter for female hosts and women-only rooms where supplied, and request women-only or family seating on shared shuttles.
